The goal of this project is to raise awareness about the importance of healthcare and the dedication of healthcare professionals. The exhibition will be held in Sacramento, CA annually, and it is designed to show the world the beauty and strength of these women professionals.

How did you come up with the idea for the Healthcare Heroes Photography Project?
I'm a nurse and a photographer, so I wanted to honor my colleagues with a photography project. The idea for the Healthcare Heroes photography project came from me. It was a way to fuse two things I am passionate about - nursing and photography.
Why is it important to honor these heroes and show the beauty beneath the mask?
There are many reasons why it is important to honor healthcare workers. First and foremost, these people give so much of themselves to the people they care for. They deserve our appreciation and respect for their dedication and hard work.
